A hair removal studio sells a course: 12 sessions, with a 30% discount for new clients. A session normally costs ₴700; this client pays ₴500 until the course ends. They don't pay upfront — they pay each time they come.
While the client sees one master, the deal lives in that master's memory. Then the master is ill, the client is booked with someone else — and that person charges ₴700, because they don't know. Now the course price is known to the system.
Two kinds of packages
| Paid upfront | Course: pay per visit | |
|---|---|---|
| When the money comes | the full amount at purchase | every time the client comes |
| Visit price | ₴0, the visit is prepaid | the course price, e.g. ₴500 |
| How it applies | with a button in the visit checkout | on its own, as soon as the visit opens |
The first is the familiar "10 manicures, paid in advance". The second is for courses where the client pays as they go, at their own price.
Set up a course
- Open Settings → Catalog → Packages and click "New package".
- In "How the client pays" choose "Course: pay per visit".
- Set the number of sessions (12), the services the course covers, and "Price per visit" — the usual course price, say ₴700.
- Save.
This is a template. You set each client's own price when you sell it.
Sell the course to a client
- Open the client card and click "Sell" in the Packages block.
- Choose the course.
- In "Price per visit" enter this client's price — ₴500.
- Optionally choose an "Assigned master".
- Click "Sell".
No money is taken at sale: the cash register doesn't change, the client pays at every visit.
The assigned master is a hint for the administrator, not a restriction. If their master can't make it, the client goes to another one at the same price.
What the person booking sees
When you create a booking and pick the client and the service, a green note appears under the service:
Course "Laser, 12 sessions": ₴500 per visit 7 of 12 sessions · master Olena
The booking price becomes ₴500 straight away. The same note is on the booking card, so anyone on the team who opens the booking sees it.
What happens at the visit
When you open the visit, the line is already ₴500, marked "course price". One session is taken off the course automatically.
- Visit cancelled — the session goes back to the course.
- Service removed from the visit — it goes back too.
- Last session — the course becomes "Depleted" and the next visit is charged at the regular price.
- Discounts don't stack on the course price: ₴500 is already discounted, and a second discount would make it ₴350 without you noticing.
There is deliberately no "Redeem session" button for a course. The visit takes the session together with the price — otherwise the visit would go at full price and the session would disappear separately.
So the course isn't dropped
Set "Days between sessions" in the course template. Then the course note gets a "Book the next session" button, and the dashboard lists clients whose session is overdue with nothing booked. Details in A course dropped halfway.
Which plan
Packages and courses are on the Start, Salon and Network plans. The free Solo plan doesn't have them.
