On a computer you move a booking with the mouse: pick it up, drag it to another time, let go. On a phone that didn't work before — you had to open the card and change the time by hand. Now bookings drag with your finger.
How to move a booking
- Open Appointments.
- Press and hold the booking for about a third of a second. It fades, and a label appears above your finger with the time and the client's name. On Android the phone also gives a short buzz.
- Without lifting your finger, drag the booking where it should go. The cell under your finger lights up, and the label shows the time it will land on: "11:30 · Anna Petrenko".
- Let go — the booking is moved.
If reminders are on, the client gets a message about the new time, just as after moving it with a mouse.
How this differs from scrolling
A finger that starts moving straight away scrolls the calendar, as before. A booking is picked up only after you hold it. So scrolling doesn't "catch" on bookings, even on a busy day.
Let go outside the grid and nothing happens — the booking stays where it was.
Handy details
- Down to 15 minutes. In the Day and Week views an hour is split into quarters: the booking lands on the quarter of the cell where you lift your finger.
- To another day of the month. In the Month view the booking moves to another day and keeps its time.
- Auto-scroll. Drag the booking to the edge of the screen and the calendar scrolls by itself, so you can move it to an hour you can't see.
- Kanban and Gantt. In Kanban a booking drags between statuses; in Gantt — to another time or another master.
Where it works
The same in the phone's browser and in the app installed on the home screen. Nothing to switch on.
Changing the duration by dragging the bottom edge of a booking doesn't work on the phone yet. Open the booking and change "To".
