Calendar: filter by specialist and service, and a comment you can't miss

Keep only one specialist, one service or one status in the calendar. An appointment with an administrator's comment is outlined in red, and the specialist is visible even on a half-hour booking.

In a salon with six specialists a week in the calendar becomes a mess you have to sort out by eye. Filters leave only what you need, and an important note on an appointment is now visible without opening it.

Filters

The “Filters” button above the calendar:

  • Specialist — one person's week.
  • Service — for example, all laser procedures, to plan the machine.
  • Status — say, only unconfirmed ones.
  • Location — if there are several.

Filters work in both the calendar and the appointment list. “Reset” brings everything back.

You can share a view as a link: the page address includes the chosen filters. Send a specialist the link to their week and they'll open exactly that.

A comment nobody misses

The administrator writes “gift card balance 2300” on an appointment and worries the specialist won't open it. Now:

  • an appointment with a comment is outlined in red with a red message icon in the first line. Visible even on a half-hour booking;
  • if it lasts 45 minutes or more, the comment text is shown right on the tile, in red;
  • on a computer the full text appears on hover;
  • in Month view an appointment with a comment has the same icon.

Use the appointment's “Comment” field. “Procedure notes” are the specialist's notes after the visit and aren't shown on the tile.

The specialist on short bookings

On a half-hour booking the specialist used to be cut off: the tile is short and the third line didn't fit. Now the specialist sits on the service line: “Electro face 30 min · Mariia Pastushenko”. If the service name is long, it's the service that gets shortened, not the name.

Moving a booking with your finger on the phone: “Move a booking with your finger on the phone”.
