Privacy policy
Last updated: August 13, 2026
This policy applies to BeeSection websites, applications and related services. Please read it together with the Terms of Use.
1. Who we are
BeeSection is a cloud CRM platform for beauty salons, barbershops, studios and other service businesses. This policy explains how information is collected, used, stored and protected when you visit our websites or use the BeeSection service.
The company or individual that creates a BeeSection workspace is responsible for the client and employee data entered into that workspace. BeeSection processes that data to provide the service.
2. Information we collect
Account and company data: name, email address, phone number, authentication data, company details, language, currency and workspace settings.
Business data: clients, employees, appointments, services, inventory, payments, payroll settings, messages, files, notes and other records submitted by authorized users.
Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, request logs, security events, cookies, language preferences and diagnostic information.
Integration data: identifiers, access tokens and content required to operate integrations that you explicitly connect, such as messaging, email, storage, payment or calendar providers.
3. How we use information
We use information to create and maintain accounts, provide CRM functionality, deliver notifications, process configured integrations, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot incidents, improve reliability and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use client records from a company workspace for unrelated advertising.
4. Google account integrations (Gmail)
BeeSection offers an optional integration that lets a workspace owner or administrator connect a Google account so client emails can be sent and received as an "Email" chat channel inside the CRM.
This integration is only activated when an authorized user explicitly grants access through the Google OAuth consent screen. Once connected, BeeSection accesses only the Gmail data required to operate the feature: it reads new incoming messages sent to the connected mailbox so they appear in the chat, sends messages on behalf of that mailbox when a workspace user replies from the CRM, and marks processed messages as read.
Data obtained through Google APIs is used solely to provide this email-chat functionality to the workspace that authorized the connection. It is not used for advertising, not sold, and is not shared with third parties except infrastructure providers strictly necessary to operate the service under confidentiality obligations. It is never used to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
BeeSection's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
A workspace owner can disconnect a Google account at any time from the integration settings. This revokes BeeSection's access token and immediately stops further access to that mailbox; previously synced messages already stored in the workspace remain part of the company's CRM records unless separately deleted.
5. Legal basis and responsibility
Depending on the applicable law, processing may be based on performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent or compliance with a legal obligation.
Workspace owners must ensure that they have a lawful basis for entering and processing information about their clients, employees and contractors, including sending marketing or appointment notifications.
6. Sharing and service providers
Information may be shared with infrastructure, email, SMS, payment, storage, analytics and support providers only to the extent required to deliver the configured service.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
7. International transfers
Some providers may process information outside your country. Where required, we use contractual and organizational safeguards intended to provide an appropriate level of protection.
8. Storage and retention
We retain account and workspace data while the account is active and for a limited period afterward for recovery, billing, security and legal purposes.
Retention periods may differ by data type and configured integration. Backups can remain for a limited rotation period after primary data is deleted.
9. Security
We use access controls, company-level data isolation, role permissions, encryption in transit, logging, backups and operational monitoring. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so account owners must use strong passwords, restrict access and promptly report suspected compromise.
10. Cookies and local storage
We use essential cookies and local storage for authentication, security, session continuity and language selection. Optional analytics or marketing technologies should be used only where enabled and permitted by applicable law.
11. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, export, restriction or deletion of personal data, or object to certain processing.
If your information was entered by a salon or another BeeSection customer, contact that organization first because it controls the workspace record.
12. Children
BeeSection is intended for business users. Workspace owners are responsible for obtaining any consent required before processing information about minors.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service, providers or legal requirements change. The current version and revision date will be published on this page.
14. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact BeeSection support using the contact page or the official support channel shown on this website.
